Hello, I evidently have the method 2 option above on my brand new Moto g7. I read all the comments above and all my settings seem to be correct. My screen however is still black when an incoming call comes in. I believe this may only be for calls which are not in my contacts list. I do have fingerprint lock screen, as referenced above in a comment.

Can you please help? Thank you!!! I am still experiencing the problem on my Technology spark 3, I have tried all the methods but still not working. Hi, I have recently bought a One Plus 7T. I am facing the problem that the Incoming Call Notification is disabled to Others and I am not able to change it to Important. The Settings are disabled and I am not able to Change it. Even if Locked or Unlocked, it is always there in the Notification Banner. I tried all the options but nothing is working yet.

Thank you very much. My life is back on track. First method worked on my Moto G5. But why the fork did it reset itself to not display the incoming caller in the first place? Am on Android 8. Thank you!! My settings were a little different but this got me there and now I can see my calls again.

Oh my goodness! Is there anybody getting an identical rss downside? Anyone who knows kindly respond. Thank you so much dear. I am very happy with this trick. I solved out my problem with your help. Be careful with this, as it only applies to a select few android phones…. If you have this, or any number of older Android devices, this tutorial is not correct, and none of the options presented here exist on you phones.

So, disregard this as it is only for the newer, more expensive Android phones!! Pls this problem was not solved in my mobile. My mobile is Coolpad pls reply how to solve this problem on my Coolpad mobile. What other alternative can i use? I am using Samsung j7 max. Can you please help me to solve this issue. Worked for Asus Zenfone max pro m If you have any other trick then plese help me. I had the same problem with my phone — no incoming calls were displaying or readily answerable. Following your steps led me to the correct phone system entry to fix the problem. Thanks for clear and direct steps to follow. I am excited that now I can pick up incoming phone calls now.

Method 2 worked for me. I have no idea why it changed. I was struggling with this for quite a while. Thank you so much! This problem has started a few days back. Was not there initially. Tried the solutions given above. Soon, your phone will be detected by the program. Step 2. The main screen will show you "Backup" and "Restore" options. You should choose "Backup", and the data types will appear on the incoming list.

Next, mark "Photos" from the left and click "Browser" to find a location on computer to put the images. Step 3. To transfer photos from Moto to computer, simply click "Back Up" at the bottom right corner to initiate the migration task.

Once done, just disconnect the cable between Motorola and computer. The user we mentioned in the foreword cannot find his Motorola on computer after it is linked. This is probably because he didn't set the connection mode on his mobile.

If this is done, it will be easy to move photos to computer. Plus, by default, pictures are stored in the internal memory of Motorola, and you can also go to the folder of SD card to check whether there are other images in it.

Connect your Motorola to computer with a USB cable. Then unlock the phone and now there's a notification, asking you to choose the connection mode.

Choose your desired pictures from the folders. Afterwards, copy them from Motorola and paste them on any locations of your computer. Motorola Phone Tools comes with backup and restore functions, also providing options for Motorola firmware updates and more. Besides photos, it can also migrate videos, contacts, text messages, etc.

Now you're all set to try your new home screen. Not much has changed since the last Pixel Launcher update with Android Oreo, but a few finishing touches have been added.

Now, the dock background is a little less transparent than it was no gradient! Additionally, the microphone icon now opens the Google Assistant. If you've never used the Pixel Launcher before, the noteworthy features are an app drawer that opens when you swipe up from the dock at the bottom of your home screen, as well as a Google search widget embedded at the bottom of the screen right next to your thumb.

Unfortunately, the integrated Google Now page won't work, as this feature requires you to install the Pixel Launcher as a system app, which itself requires root. However, you can access a few handy settings like the ability to change icon shapes by long-pressing any empty space on the home screen, then tapping the settings gear.
